1、我觉得本题的一个难点就是leading figure（领导人物）的意思，“A leading figure in the Scottish enlightenment”作为同位语解释主句的主语，所以主句主语必须是人故A,B,C不能选，然后用一个固定搭配：X be to Y what A be to B，排除D。
