E 应该是：the rate of people of consuming fatty food is about the same (of that)in France and the Unite States

我感觉E直接把原句重心给变掉了，你读读原句是说人吃fatty food,然后死亡率吧～

改变原句重心和结构是不对的

前后两个分句都以rate开头并且作为做主语，句子结构非常对称啊， although the rate of ....., the death rate....

逻辑意思有问题

the rate of people consuming fatty foods 中consuming作为people的定语，后面都可以括弧起来其实是the rate of people 不合逻辑 B就避免了这个问题

of sb doing sth 是GMAT比较讨厌的结构

可以说unemployment rate; birth rate; rate of comsumption

但是不可以说 rate of people
