这道题怎么没有思路,第一个and是不是几个形容词的并列结构,第二个和谁去平行对称? 这样想有问题吗?

30.   An inventory equal to 90 days sales is as much as even the strongest businesses carry, and then only as a way to anticipate higher prices or ensure against shortages.

(A) as much as even

(B) so much as even

(C) even so much as

(D) even as much that

(E) even so much that

这里为什么用much而不用many呢?

第一层平行：两个分句用 ", and" 连接： computers are ..., and so too are modems.

知道这个了，然后理解so表示前一句话的情况也适用于后一句话，我想（不确定）其实too应该可以省略；the devices是modems的同位语。

那三个小形容词之间是并列的，但是是在第一个分句范围内，所以第三个形容词之前要用逗号。

inventory是不可数的，所以用equal to 90 days sales 表示数量，就象A glass of water is not much.

haha, 会计中确实有 inventories的说法，不过都是用金额作为单位的，这个单位可变，可以是USD, CAD, RMB, JPY，这一类的词都是用much / less等修饰不可数的副词修饰，而你不能说10 inventories，不知道这么说可不可以。

谢谢,但就不知道an inventory表示一批存货还是就是单指存货这个抽象的概念?
