这道题谁能告诉我 A哪里错了是 twice the likelihood 和 as 搭配不对么？那么这个twice + the + n 到底该怎么用？

还是说只是表达没有B选项简洁？

advises在此处应该是通知、通告的意思，并不表示建议，所以不用动词原形。

A选项的twice the likelyhood to get... as do , 没见过这种用法，

B选项的 be twice as likely as to 倒是比较的习惯用法

要表示地球比月球大六倍，我们一般可以有下面三种最基本的表示方法：

a) 主谓＋倍数＋as 形容词原形 as＋宾语：The earth is six times as large as the moon.

b) 主谓＋倍数＋形容词比较级 than＋宾语：The earth is 6 times larger than the moon.

c) 主谓＋倍数＋形容词对应的表示量的名词 of＋宾语：The earth is 6 times the size of the

moon.

其中，形容词与其对应的表示量的名词，包括large/big – size, long – length, wide – width等等.

我猜想The Arthritis Research Institute of America advises women of color that they have twice the likelihood to get osteoarthritis of the knee as do White women如果改成that they are twice the likelihood of White women to get osteoarthritis of the knee 是不是就可以了呢？有没有人来判定一下对不对~~

advise sb that这结构是可以的吗

XDF老师不是说.这样变成ADVISE的两个宾语了?

这里的 advise 不作“建议” 解，应解释为“告知”、“通知”

表示可能做某事，用 be likely to do 更 idiomatic

没见过 have the likelihood to do

即便有，也是 be likely to do 更优选

PS：likelihood 后多用 of 或者 for 加 doing
