这道题我知道选C

A里面 large bones now kown to be animals 错排除

DE bones were usually assumed to be those of the remains of giants 根据 those of 排除DE

然后B known as 就近修饰EUROPE 改变愿意又排除

但是白勇那本《GMAT语法全解》里面说 known to be 是绝对错误的表达我很confuse啦

know 和 assume的用法到底是怎样的？有谁能来给我讲讲嘛～

白勇书里说正确用法是 known as +n 或者 known to do 绝对不能 known to be or known as + doing

那么 B 选项 known as + 介词短语可以么？

不管known as or to be，首先，名词出现做同位语就是一个很好的表达，故cd，d明显those of错
