这道题目答案选A 但是 more和increasingly难道不会重复吗？

我也覺得more跟increasingly重複
如果more跟increasingly重複, cross out A, D and E.
C中的"city air coming closer to town, the city air became increasingly acidic"是一個run-on, cross out C
B中的the city air became increasingly acidic the closer one came to town的結構應該是在clauses之間省了一個that:
the city air became increasingly acidic that the closer one came to town
傾向B...

我手头的版本当中C选项为that coming closer to town,the city air became increasingly acidic

所以我认为应该选C，其中的现在分词做状语修饰the city air，意思是city air越靠近城镇，越具有酸度

我手头的版本当中C选项为that coming closer to town,the city air became increasingly acidic
所以我认为应该选C，其中的现在分词做状语修饰the city air，意思是city air越靠近城镇，越具有酸度

more refes to the city air, while, increasing refers to the acidity~ can u get the point /
