吃午饭的时候收到RICE的电话，10k的奖学金，没有BOSTON U给的多。
这是这一周来的第二个OFFER了，感谢神，感谢CD！

btw fuggio, i just got admitted to rice as well! but from the e-mail tht the adcomm sent to me, it says tht i'll have an 'annual scholarships'... i'm pretty puzzled... does it mean that the same amount of $$$ will be awarded to me each year or is it just a one-off award?

请问楼主, 你提交成绩单的时候有没有使用rice网站上给出的翻译或GPA转换服务?
正在为这个事情头痛, 我的成绩单原件上面有英文翻译,但是是国内100分制的,但是有注明90-100是A,80-90是B这样的评分系统
是不是必须要购买第三方的服务转成4.0制的再提交给他们?

今天收到rice的答复,说成绩单ok, 可以不用转换
但是非要我重考toefl, 最低100,我是99
虽然最后截止是4月份,但是1月这一轮错过了就没有奖学金了吧
唉,有缘无份了

很奇怪，我的托福成绩寄出去半个月了，可学校就说没收到。请问大家的托福成绩一般都多少天送到学校呢？

我打算申請第三輪，提交之後計畫去campus visit & interview，希望能像樓主一樣得到offer

不知道Rice有沒有特別注重什麼呢？比方說Duke強調Team Fuqua或Kellogg強調student run

另外第三輪是不是獎學金機會較低呢？

I got the call from Rice today.

Adimitted w/ 10k scholarship package.

I was applying for R3, so the answer is yes, R3 still has chance to get schoarship

I had a phone interview on 3/9, then got the decision call on 3/13

Usually they need more time to make decision, but I mentioned a good reason in the end of interview so that they gave me answer sooner.

The high efficiency of Rice Ad is really impressive.
