虽然理解了og解释的意思，说spawned和expending同时修饰filigree,但是我还是不大明白为什么。expending在这里做什么词性？

语法上讲B不错，只能说B的修饰成分距离先行词太远，造成AWKWARD (OG11- THE OSTENSIBLE PARREL BTW EXTENDS and the distant verb is is superficial and would result in an awkward and unclear sentence).

我知道是一个过去分词和一个现在分词并列修饰filigree。我的问题是：我不明白为什么og对于(a)项的解释说'spawned refers to something that happened in the past, while extending refers to something that continues into the present.'

因为我个人对于分词修饰的理解是过去分词表被动，现在分词表主动。但是这里为什么是强调时态的概念？

在这里我只有一个疑问，就是现在分词和过去分词，判断的时候究竟是判断时间还是判断主动被动？

个人拙见,我觉得是都要考虑进去啊，因为fungus是过去被spawn的，然后这个fungus又是自己extend到现在的。时态和主被动都符合。

做分词定语：（that is）spawned by ... and (that is) extending
