答案给的B,但是我觉得C明确,为什么不选C呢

题目中的plan 用作名词, B中的to protect wild salmon and other endangered fish既可以解释成politician postpone的动机,又可以解释成plan的内容,而C中的for就变的很明确的说明plan的内容了.

C中的intending 可以作为有半句的伴随状语出现, 一样很合理

请高手指点一下C的问题到底出在哪里?

首先，这里的to表示目的，表示推迟计划的目的是为了保护动物和濒危的鱼类

其次，这里没有说plan的内容，只是说plan太ambitious了，为了保护动物要推迟，要把ambitious的plan改为a series of smaller steps，才可以更好的保护动物

最后，GMAT中常见错误的目的表达是for doing

但是以往也有过比如method for doing成立的情况，好象是在一个什么发现恐龙化石的题目里，为什么这里就不能成立呢？

首先，我认为用to do还是用for doing来表达目的并没有一个约定的规范，主要应该依靠作者想表达的动作意念强烈还是行为意念强烈来区别运用。

本题我也同意楼主选C，因为B中有很多awkward的地方，例如proposing instead a series of smaller steps，另外，smaller steps intended有岐意，intended是修饰steps?逻辑不通；修饰politicians?应该用indending吧。

这里错的是intended 修饰steps 所以用被动因为前面也是plan来protect 而不是politicans

还一个错别人告诉我的 but instead而不是and 这里我不肯定再研究下

umm...plan for doing something是可以的, 只是比較rare...

agree with 4th and 6th floor that to do和for doing不是争论的地方

"and instead"應該沒問題

B后半句的我觉得有点混乱 instead放在proposing后面是什么我觉得应该是。。。，instead proposing 。。steps intended to。。。啊

1，To to 和Doing都是存在的，只是目的不一样。
2，A decide a plan + to do，动作的发出者是Plan
3，A decide a plan + doing，动作的发出者是A

VING 可以做后置定语的

for doing 的确不如to do 来的有把握，但是此题的关键性问题是两个动词，是否给propose一个动词地位还是放在状语上表达一种方式，这个是关键。

C只有一处错误，and后面不要加they
Tom eats an apple,and drinks tea
Tom eats an apple,and he drinks tea 错误，英语不这么说

问一个问题，， B to postpone ···to protect fish 这里是为了protect 而postpone的还是to protect是修饰plan的

贴一个Ron神关于plan to + do和plan for + doing的解释：

plan to + do.
meaning: this verb is some action that I directly plan to do.
e.g.: My plan is to sell my old clothes. (This is what I'm going to do.)

plan for + doing
meaning: "doing" is the GOAL or PURPOSE of the plan, but it's not the actual mechanics of the plan.
e.g.: My plan for making money is to sell my old clothes. ("making money" is my purpose; "to sell" is what I'm going to do.)

这道题做了两次都选的C，还是觉得B没能把我说服。
