Sorry,我的问题是,为什么有former这个词,这个句子就不符合逻辑了.具体谁能够解释一下.

也许有的人一看解释就明白,但是我看这个解释就犯傻了.

标题: 關於as的用法

因為as(介詞)+ 身分,but其下一句子中之動詞為過去式,所以可以得知此人必為former chair, 因此as+ the chair of ...即可, 若再加former 就會redundancy
