题干中说4-year stu和trans stu人数相等。可是为什么问题又问trans-stu的所占份数？那不是50%么？
还是我题意没有理解对呢？这道题该怎么考虑？

第一题问的是在graduate with honor的人中transfer stu占的比例 不是在总graduates中的比例哈。。所以必须知道在graduate with honor的人中transfer stu和4-year stu的比例关系才行
条件一 我们看不出有多少graduate with honor的人 也不知道4-year有多少是with hornor的 所以无解
第二题嘛 要求dinner check 而tax和tip是绑在一起的 除去那20% tax也就一块儿被去掉而只剩下dinner check了 别被绕进去了哈。。
不知道我说清楚了没有 表达不太好
1.因为条件(1)里不知道4-year students 里面有多少个graduating with honors.所以就得不出students graduating with honors的总数啊..就算不出它当中transfer students 的fraction..
条件(2)里,可以设4-year students和transfer students的数都为m.设4-year中honor的fraction为y,transfer中honor的fraction为x.那么mx-my/my=3/2.得出x=5/2y.那么题目最后的fraction为mx/(mx+m·2/5x）=5/7

第三道题是不是讲哪个的分布更离散把。
统计里面的意思就是方差吧，意思就是各个样本如果比较集中，方差就小，反之就大。
所以看看a,b 叙述应该就知道了。
好像是这样的，离开校园多年，忘的差不多了。
第2题including tax是个伴随状语啊，说明给的tip里已经包含了tax
第5题的quater是美国硬币里的25分，也就是a quater dollar。

$0.25*X+$0.10(81-X)=$16.50
X=56

是的， 用公式表示是：
(transfer&honor - 4&honor) /4&honor=50%
问题是：transfer&honor / honor=transfer&honor / ( transfer&honor + 4&honor), 由上面公式可以求出比值为3/5
第三题
2）No Student in class B is more than 6 months older than any other student.
意思应该是每个学生都是16岁吧，那Class B standard deviation 应该等于0
由1）Class A standard deviation 肯定大于0
所以是C
