纠纷在B，C选项上，我的答案版本是C，而我选的B，说a tool for private conversation 逻辑上是修饰radio的，但是在B中修饰了telephone. 而C中conceived of the radio as a tool for private conversation that could substitute for ....that 不是应该就近修饰conversation吗？最近遇到好多类似的问题，就是that 是否就近修饰的问题，什么中心词什么的，很混。但是看了答案后我觉得B的问题好像比较多，but which is 这个结构很怪，在这个位置没有准确的指代。还有这道题到底选什么啊？讨论版中答案也不确定，BC之争

C中, that 指代最接近的一个名词性短语 "a tool for private conversation"

我是新手，我有一个简单的理解，不知道对不对，如有错误，还望各位多多包涵。
其实可以根据平行结构来做，后面的句子中有a tool for communicating ......public audience.
,所以前面就应该是tool for private conversation,其他的就不用管了，抓住最主要的，就可以了。
我做GWAT发现了一个好玩的事情，就是很多难题可以用平行结构解决，不知道各位觉得怎么样？
