答案是D，可是谁能告诉我 A is twice as much as B ,这个比较中第二个AS 后面可以跟句子吗？第2个AS是连词吗？B 的错误在哪？谢谢~~~

I picked "D" on first shot. i insighted following reasons for elimination.

A. as much as that which is being emitted annually by all - Wrong due to great "Being"

B. as much annually as is emitted by the - HEre "The" is wrong as it talks about all Motors, not any particular.

C. as much compared to what is annually emitted by all- WHere is "as"

D. that emitted annually by all - Correct.

E. that emitted annually compared to the - HEre "The" is wrong as it talks about all Motors, not any particular

此结构中A和B要是同类型的东西...所以我认为不能跟句子

A 中的不是句子吧，我把它想成 that指代里面的number，后面which从句是修饰that的。像ls的ls说的，应该是错在being吧。

那里提到numberl了？that 指代the total amount of pollutant，这个题中that 不能省略。

个人觉得B是不是还有个问题就是ANNUALLY修饰MUCH与前半句比较不对等

OG: as much as 前后比较要对等

在此题中，

A. as much as that which is being emitted annually by all 与前面emitted by不平行

B. as much annually as is emitted by the 前面的vehicles没有the,要平行，所以也不对

C. as much compared to what is annually emitted by all compared to 与as much貌似有些重复了吧

D. that emitted annually by all 正确，that指代the total amount of，
emitted by 和emitted by平行

E. that emitted annually compared to the 同B，

B应该是比较对象不对等,我做题的时候也忽略了...

这道题我在D选项和E选项里徘徊，看前人的解释，说E是因为用the，表示特指所以错，我想问问那E中的compared to 错吗？ as。。。as和compare to 不能同时使用，那在twice，表倍数里可以用吗？就NN指点，快考了。。。

可以加句子，但是需要前面一个as前也是句子才能平行
