請問A錯的理由是否是crossing....的修飾對象錯誤?

我知道 C改變原來意思所以錯誤
B分詞主語不是a French scientist，應該是moss
E 錯在attempt的使用,正確應該是 an attempt at Ving 或是 In an attempt to V

MM分析的不错，A的错误是Crossing的逻辑主语不对。

E的错误是句子缺少谓语，不完整了。

啊~~謝謝啦

經您這樣提醒我注意到E選項缺乏主要動詞,

發現是自己題目看太快,光看到attempt的用法就判斷E選項錯誤,殊不知後面有更大更明顯的錯誤呢

原文提到了French Scientist，看题不仔细，打回重看

还有就是我觉得C那个by sb. by doing sth.也怪怪的啊没有歧义吗? 我感觉要是AC都有歧义的话，A>C啊。。。

这个by比选项A好，它表示的是通过一个什么手段，而选项A的逗号后面再接一个ing形式有点伴随状语的味道，不能紧密的表现出两者之间的关系。

还有一点C比A好的是attempting to 优于in attempt at,前者比较简洁。

A,attempt at的用法是正确的，attempt主要有两个用法：1.做及物动词时有attempt to do sth；attempt sth；2.作动名词时：an attempt at（doing）sth， an attempt to so something(但这种用法不及attempt to do sth简洁有效）
