1)for doing 在修饰动词时不如to do；所以错，即for doing不能表示动作的目的。

但是以下几种情况for doing 是对的。

1)for doing修饰名词，如the deadline for appling MBA,申请MBA的最后日期。即可以表示名词的目的/意图/功能。本题是此种用法。

2）for doning还可以表原因，如blame sb for doing sth

对于本题的解答： so 是连词，应该连接两个句子。ABDE选项的结构全部是：介词短语，连词+主句，全部错误。所以即使不知道just as... so...的搭配，还是可以做对题目。
