which of the following numbers is greater than three-fourths of the numbers but less than one-fourth of the numbers in the list above ?

a 56

b 68

c 69

d 71

e 73

what is the meaning , i am very confused !!!

我的理解是

下面的哪个数比上面那8个数中四分之三的数大，四分之一的数小，题中并没说sum所以不能理解为求和

把这8个数按大小排一下：82，73，69，47，38，31，22，13

所以73>x>69 选D

不知道对不对

The question here is pretty simple. We have a list of numbers and the
question asks for a number that is greater than 3/4 of the list(of
numbers) and less than 1/4 of the list.

3/4 of the list is 6 numbers(13,22,31,38,47,69)

1/4 of the list is 2 numbers(73,82)

so select a number inbetween those limits.
Finally, 69<x<73, which is 71. (D)
