标题: [讨论]PREP语法笔记37,they指代

One report concludes that many schools do not have, or
likely to have, enough computers to use them effectively.

    

 

    

(A) or

    

(B) nor

    

(C) or are

    

(D) nor are they

    

(E) nor are not 

答案D,疑问是答案里面的they指代前面的schools,而enough computers to use them effectively.中them指代computers,这样前后不是不一致了么?

有认为说 nor are they likely to have是插入,插入语不用考虑一致?

以前一直没注意看这方面的反例,想听听大家的看法

1、记住这个特例。

2、代词指代一致不是最高原则，至少次于逻辑意思，固定搭配，和修饰歧义等等。

2、GMAT考的是effectiveness,其他几项过于离谱。

对代词直待一致只是属于EFFECTIVENESS
