each other的用法问题已经被讨论了两个世纪了..刚开始这个each other是可以指代两物以上的，后来有人说each other应该是两者之间...

到现在，对其中任一观点都是褒贬各半...所以each ... the other的用法不一定对...而在GMAT里面是没有见过它对的...

对其中任一观点都是褒贬各半，所以是对是错，以做到过的题目为准，如果没有做到过。既然大全里有这样的题目就很好的说明了GMAC是站哪边了。。

我感觉啊特别是表示两个物体互相绕着转用each ... the other非常有效的表达了意思而用one...the other则不够准确，不过还是没有官方结论支持...

错误答案一般错误都不止一个，d 中的where不对，还是更全面的分析好些

还是支持each...the other 凭感觉傻了吧唧的支持...

恩，大全918很好的证明了GMAC是支持的each...the other的用法的。

大全918

解释：

这个题目对B的解释我查了一下...总觉得向大全解释里有点模糊，下面的解释感觉更为合理：

解释1、We generally use both when both the objects (teams, sides..) are doing the same stuff. e.g., Both sides are trying their best to win the game. Both sides are intent on creating difficulties [for someone else].

解释2、the difference between each/the other and both/each other.

Use each when the parties are more separate, and use both when the parties are collaborating.
For example, each side was fighting the other sounds better than both sides were fighting each other, don't you think?

按照朗文的解释，貌似两个人或者多个人都可以用...我怎么漏了逻辑链上的这个点，GMAT用了each...the other不意味着不能用each...another...还是根据具体的句意（有几个objects）来吧...

顶老帖~
还是这个题，c选项，are because of the interaction between two stars that orbit each other，解释说because of 不如are caused by 简洁有效
but，我觉得是因为如果用because of的话，只能连接简单的名词，如果名词后面有修饰成分，那么要用because that 从句。（这也是某题笔记说的~）
同前贴一样，我也是凭感觉傻了吧唧的这么觉得~
请大牛指教~
