答案是D，不过对于这道题我有一个疑问，就是题目的意思是5个选项里面哪一个weaken the prediction, 这里面的prediction指的应该是最后的结论吧。我理解的题干的意思是，新的生物技术公司有可能保密自己的研究成果，这将导致（prediction）slow the development...
那么题目应该在问，在新的公司采取保密措施的前提下，哪个选项不会导致slow the development..才对啊。但是D选项把前提都否定了，明显在说新公司不会保密。
总是不能太理解题目的意思。
