重新想了一下这道题。。。。。觉得D 的问题不是在ALTHOUGH 后能不能中ADJ。。。而在于D 后一分后改变了原义重心。。。。变为强调green and striped.....而个人认为although 后是可以加ADJ的。。。。

至于although, 比较同意楼上几个的观点，句中although可以使尽管的意思，重点强调是在前面，比如d选项，他们就是又green又striped, 要么有点bumps和bruises, although(尽管)受欢迎。
这逻辑意思是不符合常理的
看e选项，虽然他们是又green又striped, 要么有点bumps和bruises,but(但是-显然是强转折，重点自然在后面）他们就是受欢迎
