答案是D, 新东方说that在gmat中不能引导非限制性定语从句必须紧紧跟着所修饰的对象,因此排除ABC, 可是D里不也是that与被修饰对象equipment分离吗? 为什么就正确了? 谢谢!

equipment单数所以应该是 is visible 并且that are visible 这样用没有visible equipment简洁而且无法与后面的unobtrusive平行

同上　最后应该用that　the amount of energy used by 与　that used by平行（that代表前面的the amount of)
(C) equipment, such as lights, that is visible and must be turned on and off and underestimate it when

that is visible 不简洁与后面单词不平行
(D) visible equipment, such as lights, that must be turned on and off and underestimate that

(E) visible equipment, such as lights, that must be turned on and off and underestimate it when

that引导的作为限定从句　是不能修饰插入语中的词的　而且逻辑上也说不过去～　所以此处没有歧义～
