对于fewer of/less of的争议，我也比较赞同说less of certain pollutants强调的是程度，fewer强调了种类。而且从平行看，应该是车跟车的比较，排除A,B,C,D.

但是E的问题是，这里可以省略掉do?！还说是又是一道“非洲里选小白”？！

提供的答案B。但是B的答案省去了the budget，似乎改变了原意。大全注释说，one's position on是固定用法，所以选B而不选A。但是大家请看:

从这些表达不难看出，one's position in regard to something是可行的。所以我支持A
