标题: 有人申过哈佛商学院的accounting dba么？
好像不太看到有讨论hbs的，看了一下他的accounting doctoral program排名不是特别高啊，我的意思是比我想象当中数一数二要差远了，好像uchicago和wharton都还要比它家的高很多．

我知道基本上进取的可能性很小很小，但大家申请的时候都会顺便投一下吗？有没有什么经验呢或者对这个学校的accounting program的印象？

不好意思，我是不是讲错话了？

我意思是反正也花那么大精力准备个人资料，那么对于最梦想中的学校就当是完成心愿地投一下。

申请费虽然不少，但也就一生一次的机会，一年多打一些工也可以挣回来的。至少从自己心里觉得尽力了。

就像表白阿。。你知道已经没机会了，但是就是觉得应该说出来，让对方知道你我很喜欢你。。。。（我知道每个人价值观差别很大了，但我觉得既然曾经希望过的，就算是要画句号，也要画一个很好的句点阿~）

希望了解hbs的同学可以稍微介绍一下一些他家的特点，谢谢！

还有一点，chicago和wharton都很多人申阿，这两个学校比harvard的accounting要好多了，大家为什么觉得说到harvard就变成无语了呢？理论上它收的人也比其他项目多一点，应该比chicago和wharton至少要可能性大一点吧。但好像只看到申请uchicago的人络绎不绝，而申请harvard的都没有。

why you think accounting at chicago and wharton is much better than that in harvard? why you think harvard will recruit more students than other programs? why you think chance of admitted by harvard is bigger than that of chicago and wharton?

There is also equilibrium in the application process. Do you think what you consider has not been considered by previous applicants?

I feel harvard likes students of nobel birth. In other words, they prefer students with Ivey under background,or world famous university such as Tel-Aviv university.

hbs貌似更喜欢要本科生,他们每年的录取者中有60%是本科直接上来的.我认识一个香港过去的学生,本科毕业,没有任何的研究经历和文章,各方面成绩很好,PS写的很棒,最后enroll到HBS最强的GENERAL MANAGEMENT系...

可能哈佛的accounting是很好吧，我只是在查专业排名的时候看到他的排名比chicago和wharton低很多才这样讲的，我以前翻过去的旧贴的时候也看到一个学长说大家说到哈佛的accounting都会摇头。。。

我绝对没有觉得以前的申请者都不会想到这一点，我只是比较好奇，为什么那位同学这样说，harvard acct到底是有什么问题，才会来问的，因为我自己查不到答案。。。

至于收的人，这个我确实没研究好，我只是比了去年的录取人数，哈佛总的录取人数比较多（31个），不过你是对的，这不代表accounting专业他们招的就多，也不代表平均下来他们每年收人就多。

I would say chicago and wharton are definitely top 5 or even top 3 in terms of the number of publications in major field. But the number of faculty in chicago and wharton is also more than that in other business schools. So the publication and faculty number ratio is also an important indicator. People always say harvard is harvard, but I have not heard chicago is chicago, wharton is wharton, even mit is mit, you can understand what i am saying. I think students accepted by harvard may not get accpted by chicago/wharton, and students accepted by chicago/wharton may not get accepted by harvard. It is hard to say which one is easier to get in, it depends.
