但是我感觉B更好啊，因为C中的their指代不清啊，请解释一下，谢谢……

B的42 times之後少了一個受詞

在一个讨论上看到的：

A，compare to的前后不匹配，CEO和a ratio

B is the best，a ratio that ...用ratio指代前面经常是ETS正确答案的标志

C，their指代不清

D、E，缺that

我自己一開始是選B 也認為C的their指代不清因此把BC兩句跟原題做了結合,如上,這樣看了比較清楚

iamwuyan提到Ｂ錯在compares．我想他說的原因是動詞時態--跟1980的ratio做比較，compare動作既已完成應該用過去式；AlienX說42times後面少了受詞--的確跟原題結合之後，搞不懂42倍是跟1980年啥東西做比較

C選項有加受詞相對清楚，但their指代不是很清楚一開始會造成困擾。不過細細推敲句意，CEO的薪水是藍領工人的419倍-->419：1，以藍領工人的薪水為基準；42 times their pay--> 42:1，比較的對象在結構上要平衡，所以還是以藍領工人的薪水為基準，所以42 times their pay的their指代藍領工人

個人一點想法不知這樣的邏輯正確否，請各位指教

順手把PREP上的解釋貼出,上面解說挺詳盡的,請參考

(A)
                compared to的比較物件不物件，前者419 times the pay of
                blue-collar workers表達的是工資數，
            而後者a ratio of是比率。

(B) a ratio that compares的compare不能用主動方式表達，應該是被比較sth
                be
                compared
                to…的省
            略形式（省略了主語和系動詞，是慣用法）；compare
                to的比較物件不物件，前者419
                times
                the
                pay
                of blue-collar workers表達的是工資數，而後者42 times是比率。

(C) 正確，as
                compared
                to比較結構，419
                times
                the
                pay與42
                times
                their
                pay比較，the
                ratio…是同位
            語。

(D) 缺少that引導賓語從句；indicates CEO’s who…句子結構不完整，缺少謂語，who引導定語從句
修飾名詞CEO’s。

(E) 缺少that引導賓語從句；indicates CEO’s earning…句子結構不完整，缺少謂語；compare
                to的
            比較物件不物件，前者419 times the
