This morning meteorologists are predicting much-needed rain for the corn-growing region starting tomorrow. Therefore, since adequate moisture is essential for the current crop's survival, prices of corn futures will fall sharply today.

答案D，虽然我也选了D，但A为什么不对呢？感觉A也是削弱。

我怎么感觉A是加强呢，把两个Not都去掉的话不就是说得到充足的雨水将会有充足的产量

说说我当时想A的思路：在pollination stage的时候，没有充足的雨水，即使明天开始（不是指pollination stage）有充足的雨水了，产量也未必提高。所以削弱。即他因削弱。他因是：这些corn在pollination stage没有充足的雨水。

但D比A更直接。

自己问题，自己理解。。。。不确定对否，to discuss。

结论：潮气有利于粮食存活----粮食产量上升（背景的推理信息）---粮食价格下降
（因果）

D：
病虫害—粮食产量下降—粮食价格上升（与结论相反，所以削弱）

我也想问问A为什么错？是因为原文已经很明确有足够的雨水吗？所以A中的说的理由是反对原文的前提，而不是对结论削弱嘛？

题目中说有一场及时雨可以帮助增产，增产就必定降价，要求削弱

A中用双重否定表明，没有充沛的雨水就没有增产，这应该就加强原结论，而没有起到削弱的作用。

倒是D，说即使会增产，在季末还会有一场灾害。灾害会导致减产，减产会导致升价。这就很好地削弱了。

恩，不知道这样说LZ能理解吗？

双重否定等于肯定，把两个not去掉，双重取非就行了啊

我理解lz为什么选A，跟我一样
但后来仔细想了想，原文也并没有说现在是不是critical pollination stage，无从判断
所以A明显就是加强了

感觉楼上是正解。
文中只说了tomorrow, 而并没有说明tomorrow是不是 critical pollination stage. 如果明天是，产量将会增加，A选项就是增强。如果明天不是，那么产量与这个雨就无关，A选项就是削弱。因此这个选项非常模糊。
我是这样理解的。
