我认为D明显不对，as...as是用来做比较的

我选的E，不知道是不是这个错是因为makeing和so as to不并列

E   应该是nor错误，用于连接两个否定的短语只能用or。
BC or前后不平行
D  as…as…用于2种东西比较，这里只出现了1种东西，无比较。

还是从语义上理解

这种soil如果太hard就一定会让burrowing变得difficult 所以用一般现在时

而如果它soft的话 它只是有可能会cause tunnels to collapse 所以用情态动词could削弱语气

这题我也错了，后来想了一下D不符合逻辑，D中as...as确实没有比较的内容，应该是So...that句型~
