I am now at HK.
One mid-tier local security firm just gave me an oral offer today, the position is like MT in commercial bank, in the first year I am gonna rotate in different departments, and the manager will review my performance and decide the clear responsibility for my second year, maybe I will be sent overseas or mainland or keep staying in Hk. All depends on my working behavior.
One of the u.s leading custodial service provider also gave me the chance, however, the job is more routine and basic--fund accountant. Basically, I don't think there will be any difference from a "normal" accountant. But apparently this company gains more reputation in the industry, and the working location is fabulous to me, XX floor in the IFC. The decorations inside is the best I have ever seen, the sea view is also fantastic!
I haven't talked about the salary with the security firm, the custodial bank can not offer much since it's backoffice job and it's not a iBank after all.
