Q14:

In 1914 a total of 469,000 cars and trucks were produced in the United States, but in 1929 almost twice the numbers of tucks alone came off the assembly lines.

the number of trucks by themselves
as many trucks themselves
as many trucks by themselves

以as...as 規則可以將(D)(E)刪去但是(A)(B)(C) 選項該如何判斷呢？謝謝回答

A錯因為the number of X, 而不是the numbers of X.
C的by themselves有點像說trucks come off the assembly lines by themselves...
B的that number是指469000...B比較make sense.

A， the number指代不明

c，by themselves用法错误
