我不是很懂这个黄色部分什么意思他想说，A把to him差在中间符合规则吗，有什么区别吗，谢谢大家啊

B的the african land symbolizing...說到好像有幾個african land一樣...

OKOK,B的意思貌似就是回到了symbolizing the possibility of freedom to him这么一个非洲土地上，想明白了，哎。。。。

不过我的问题是，这里可以直接用分词 symbolizing 来修饰land吗？ A 中用的是that symbolized, 如果两者皆可，那么区别是什么？

好像感觉不可以直接用symbolizing来修饰Land，现在分词作定语表示重复发生的动作或行为，that从句做定语，表示偶然的。B即使在land后加逗号，与原来的句意都不同，变成分词短语作状语了，不再做定语。所以还是A是最佳答案，to him，是插入语，限制了是某一特定人的观点
