我选的是C，答案给的是D，看讨论认为C错在没有谓语，我的问题两个

1：D就有谓语了？

2：后面还有一句完整的主谓结构，“，”可以连接两个句子？

恩，既然是“，”可以连接两个句子我就没什么问题了，我当时就是冲着C就是个词去的，Because of我觉得后面太长，所以没选，后来看了老大的帖说because+event, because of+something，可惜没看到例子，以后留意下，谢谢LS

我觉得原句的主要意思还是前面law的那部份是一个原因状语从句，表从属意味。C把它变成了一个主句还是万万不可行的吧。
