GWD1-Q2:

By merging its two publishing divisions, the company will increase their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks.

A.      their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging

B.       from 6 percent to 10 percent its share of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

C.      to 10 percent from 6 percent in their share of the $21 billion book market in the country, a market ranging

D.      in its share, from 6 percent to 10 percent, of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

E.       to 10 percent from 6 percent its share of the country’s $21 billion book market, which ranges

By merging its Bantam Doubleday Dell division with Advance Publications' Random House, Bertelsmann will increase to 10 percent from nearly 6 percent its share of the $21 billion book market in the United States, which ranges from Bibles to mass-market paperbacks.

By merging its two publishing divisions, the company will increase their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging from obscure textbooks to mass-market paperbacks.

  1. their share of the country’s $21 billion book market from 6 percent to 10 percent, a market ranging

  2. from 6 percent to 10 percent its share of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

  3. to 10 percent from 6 percent in their share of the $21 billion book market in the country, a market ranging

  4. in its share, from 6 percent to 10 percent, of the $21 billion book market in the country, which ranges

  5. to 10 percent from 6 percent its share of the country’s $21 billion book market, which ranges

然后B的in the country好过th country's....

I am absolutely sure that the correct answer is E.
Please note that GMAT English is different from the daily used one.

B比E要好:

1. from...to...

2. E里面share of the country's market,嵌套用of和所有格形式是不好的。

3. market in the country, which ranges没有问题:which引导的从句修饰market in the country一个整体。
