C为什么不对, 后面是说cut 饲料分配,所以应该是和普通人工养殖比较啊. 而且c很对称啊. comments???

Fish是单数啊，怎么能用They 和 their? 不是说GMAT里＋S是复数，不+S就单数，没有可数不可数一说吗？

标题: 还是关于句意把握
C选项为社么不对啊
as...as 是对比结构啊，前后不是要对称的么
suppliers不自然养殖对比suppliers自然养殖鱼类，应该比suppliers不自然养殖鱼类对比鱼类自然生长要更对称吧？
句意的把握到底则样才能跟ETS一致呢，纠结

这个这个，应该不对的吧，参考答案是D啊，不是A

as well as 前面是suppliers are growing fish twice ，注意这是一个句子，平行的话也要一个句子，所以A、B、C排除
raising them on special diets要和前面平行，所以E排除
另：fish单复数的问题，后文中有them的呀，所以肯定是复数了，而且要注意保持指代一致

一开始也混了，则么也不明白D选项中的cutting的成分
现在觉得cutting。。。应该是作状语修饰前面的suppliers are growing fish twice as fast as they grow naturally

但逻辑上cutting应该是做状语解释说明前面的句子

个人观点：growing fish是和 fish grow naturally相对的两种方式，不可能growing them naturally。只能说鱼类自然生长，而不能说人工自然养殖，人工和自然就是相对的。

第一页就有回答啊 C的话补充完全就变成
suppliers are growing fish twice as fast as (suppliers are) growing them naturally就变成了supplier自然地养鱼 和与自然生长是两个意思
而且这样的话有可能会造成growing cutting和raising的并列 但是事实上cutting和raising是伴随状态补充说明are growing fish的

我也认为culting……and raising……是作状语修饰growing。如果是growing,culting,raising三项并列的话raising前面的and前面应该有“，”。比如prep1下面的第5题应该就是分词三项并列。
不知我这样理解对不对。求正解~

虽然笔记里面说A比较概念不对称，但我觉得还有一个关键就是fast不能修饰rate，英文里面不能说rate很 fast啊~~~

我也想问一下 D中they指代的问题，为啥就指代的是suppliers而其他选项，例如A就是指代的fish，如果是就近指代的话，那D为啥又不可以呢

如果你的意思是：C的比较对象都是人工养殖，一个是正常速度，一个是两倍速度（即suppliers grow fish naturally没有逻辑意思上的问题）
如果是这样，请注意这里naturally的含义，不是“正常的”，而是“in a way that is the result of nature, not of someone's actions”（朗文）。既然无关someone’s actions，那么suppliers怎么能grow fish naturally呢？
2关于they的指代
一开始我也在纳闷这they到底是指代fish还是指代suppliers。但后来我发现，这不是考点，每个选项都有they/them/their，而当中哪个选项想要成为正确选项的话，必定这个指代要和未划线部分中的“raising them”中的them指代一致，即指代fish。

做比较题目关键是看清楚比较对象，以及哪些部分是重复的，可以缺省。
在此题中，suppliers grow fish主谓宾齐全，因此可判断比较对象是状语，那么as之后的句子也应该是主谓宾齐全缺省状语，除非有重复成分，在这里DE符合条件，根据后面的and判断平行结构的对称性，选D。
as...as与than的道理是一样，本题也可以改成suppliers are growing fish faster than they grow naturally，这样看起来就更加明白了。
再例如：I run faster than you (run).和I run twice as fast as you (run). I run twice faster than you (run).
我刚开始也选了A，但是这道题再次提醒了比较对象之间的一致性和对称性这个红线是不能碰的，不论句式多复杂，都不能改变这个原则。

D选项中they grow naturally中的they是指fish吧？grow是生长的意思，如果句子中出现多个they\them，位置接近又指代不同的意思，显得很混乱；
D中两个句子并列，比较对象是第一种情况下的fast程度和第二种情况下的fast程度，是对状语的比较。
不知道说的对不对，求大神讲解
