标题: 质疑GWD-12-20的答案

本题，尽管有争议，但是大家一致认为选A。

但是，在longman里面，also只是个副词，副词是不能引导从句的。

所以我认为选E。

谁能好心指点一下这道题目吗？

补充一下，longman里面有例句：

She sings beautifully and also plays the flute and piano.

如果also可以引导句子，这个and就很搞笑了不是吗？

关于这个题目的讨论很多，但是因为太长，顶起来也没用，所以自己开了个新帖子。

b,c,d是可以很轻易的排除的。我看这道题的时候，在A和E中犹豫了，但还是选了A。理由如下：

1E中有逻辑错误。the act不能made provision。只有人，还有像congress,team, group这样的才能made provision。

2establishing在逻辑上指代Washington, D.C；但在语法上，却指代the act

A中，eatablish是the act的谓语，这个句子没有宾语。所以这里的also并没有问题！

只是不明白的是为什么要用逗号隔开呢？？

这里的also不是引导从句，就是做副词修饰谓语established
文章主干：the act of Congress also established the Library of Congress.
用逗号隔开的也不是谓语，而是插入语, Washington, D.C.,

og11-verbal109里面，还真有一个also引导从句的例子，请问该如何理解？

also不能做连词啊

这整个部分都是从句，influenced是从句的谓语，whose repertory, views on musical collaboration, and vocal style这部分是从句的主语。

所以inspired是主语的谓语。Bluegrass musician Bill Monroe是主句的主语

also只是副词
