OG解釋Only is placed with precision next to the group of words it actually limits, by heart disease and cancer 所以adv還是會修飾到後面的片語
請問這兩種情況ㄧ樣嗎？？

不一样的，ADV.修饰的话也要看题目，只能说LZ给出的第一题不会影响位置。因为题目中只有一个动词能够被specifically修饰。这里因为only是一个极限修饰词。GMAT中only的位置通常是不会改变的。

第2题不是很明显。

比如说： Only chasedream can teach GMAT.和 Chasedream can only teach GMAT.就很明显了。

真的很不明显啊，怎么理解surpassed only by 和only surpassed by的区别呢? 版主能否翻译一下？

surpassed only by heart disease and cancer，强调的是糖尿病是仅次于心脏病和癌症，能导致死亡

only surpassed by heart disease and cancer 强调surpassed这个动作

如果区分不清，就记only/first/last这几个都是极端修饰词，不可以随便改变其在文中的位置
