Answer: C

我选了A的，因为看着C 里的 by them 不顺眼,觉得可能有指代不清的嫌疑。

但是觉得A 里的 is signed that 这里的that 的位置有些奇怪。

考古了以前的帖子好像都没有确定的说法。

哪位NN指导一下吧。

又听人说在A里的时态不对，to be signed 或者 would be signed 就对了

所以C是对的。


好晕啊，NN指点一下吧。

個人比較傾向A
TN版上給的answer is A not C.

A: 正确。LZ可能觉得这里的that不好。这里的that没有问题。之所以放到后面是因为这个定语从句过长，如果按照正常语序的话就是until a merger agreement that includes a provision for penalties if the deal were not to be concluded is signed。会造成句子的不平衡。所以放到后面，OG里也有类似的题目，不过一下想不起来了，以后找到补上。

B：for buying不是优选。they指代不清，was不对，虚拟语气应该用were。

C: them指代不清。另外be signed 我觉得不舒服，谁知道问什么不对告诉我。

D :are不对，主语是one；for不好，it指代不清;was不对。

E :are不对，主语是one；they指代不清

首先，能解释一下为什么B后面deal是are吗？

其次，C里面的be signed是因为这个是虚拟语气（因为后面的deal用的是过去式were）,虚拟语气中should省略了，所以是be signed.
