是在搞不懂，为什么要选E呢？两个谓语并列，中间可以加逗号吗？

根据句义应该是转折而不是让步，所以用but而不用while。由于两个动词都带有很长的宾语，为使结构看起来清晰，可以加逗号隔开，多做一些题或者多读一些文章就熟悉了，这样的用法是很普通的。
