I, Genral information
Università Bocconi, founded in 1902, was the first Italian university to grant a degree in economics.
For a century, Bocconi has played a leading role in Italy's social and economic modernization, by remaining true to its founding values of being a major research university, democratic and open to the world, as well as financially and politically independent.
At the outset of the 21st century, Bocconi contributes to the advancement of European higher education, by teaching business and economic knowledge to prospective managers and researchers from all over the world.

V My view

Language skill is a big plus when hunting for a job. If you want to stay in Italy, better you speak good Italian. But Bocconi is an international institution. The graduates are in a world market. Every year, there are lots of opportunities offerred by companies not only in Itlay, but also in France, Switzerland,Germany, UK, and other non-European countries. As far as I know, any international student is required to know 2 foreign languages. (English +Italian/ France+ English/ German+France/ English+ German.......)

thanks for your reply. Language is definitely going to be a factor, but I am actually more concerned with working visa issue, as I heard it's not easy to get one in Europe. However, it's pure hear-bys, so hope you can share some of your konwledge on the issue?
Thanks again...

I do not see any problem for a Bocconi graduate go get the working visa......
I am afraid, 第 7 楼, you are completely wrong on this issue. I graduated from a Italian business school with international reputation and still in that endless work permit application process. This is one of the ugliest Italian thing.
The truth is, Italy publishes a certain number of work permit each year, WITHOUT any favor for high potential students and prestigious degrees. It is well recognized that the Italian work permit is much harder than its British, American , French or German counterparts.
PS: Initialcd. I appreciate your practical way of thinking, that is asking about work permit before you come to Italy. In this sense, you are more practical than most ranking-obsessed Chinese students.

Thanks.. I am quite practical, in some way..
Italy seems like a really pleasant country, however I guess not for everyone.. Good luck on your work permit application!
Work permit is gonna be a big obstacle for this country to develop in future. If they go on doing like this, i.e. do not differentiate between highly educated foreign people and the low value added working labour, they will lose their competitiveness in the long run.
Italy is a nice country for vocation and leisure, but not an ideal country to work. This is my opinion.
