A huge flying reptile that died out with the dinosaurs some 65 million years ago, the Quetzalcoatlus had a wingspan of 36 feet, believed to be the largest flying creature the world has ever seen.

B and that is believed to be

D which was, it is believed

E which is believed to be

在课上,老师说黄色部分是插入语, 主语是reptile, 我这里纠正一下, 这是严重不对的,因为这样一来,这个句字根本没有谓语.

经过分析, 我认为, Quetzalcoatlus 才是主语, 而 A huge flying reptile that died out with the dinosaurs some 65 million years ago 是Quetzalcoatlus 的同位语, had是这个句子的一个谓语, 最后是一个分句, 但是逗号不能单独连接两个句子, 所以一定要用and, 所以这题的考点是逗号的用法

所以答案是 C. and it is believed to have been. 之所以不选B, 是因为后面要用完成时. 有have ever seen.

it指代的是后面的不定式。

以上是楼主的句子，我认为have been的用法不对，因为后面是has ever seen 前面还是用to be对。但是B选项里的that指代有问题，按理说that指代quetzalcoatlus，但不符合就近原则。

我不同意新东方老师插入语的说法，我同意楼主前面是同位语，Quetzalcoatlus是主语的解释。
