E没错，但表达不如D清楚。they would need x's, y's, and z's for each of them显然不如they would each need a x, a y, and a z...

they would each need，好像在哪里看到过each的这种用法，是否有高手详细说明一下，并举几个例子？其他SC题目中是否有类似的题目？

好像沒有OG/Prep的題有such usage...

A would be needed by each of them, 被动，wordy, 错
D they each need 这个each的用法白勇的语法里有提过，例: students each have a pencil.
each在这里做副词，谓语仍和主语一致。注意：主语+each和 each of 不一样。each of xxx 要用单数。

我怎么觉得被动更能够起到突出这三种所需要的材料的作用呢？

想来想去还是D是最好的。本来纠结于need应该是needs，但是前面有would，所以还是用need是对的。A错在跟D比较句子复杂，不能纠结于主被动谁优先的问题，然后by似乎不是很好；E会产生歧义，是多个visa还是一个。

D 选项的each 后不应该用needs 吗

我觉得D选项里有个平行，a landing card, and （a）evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever
这个介词短语（for each of them）的放在结尾影响了平行，而且影响了句意，句意应该是每个旅行者都需要这两种卡和一个证明，E项的介词短语只跟在证明后面说明每个人都需要证明，没说也需要其他的卡，和句意有差异

重点是每个人都需要，A E里each of them在句末淡化了这层意思
B C有being 不如D evidence of inoculation 来的简洁
