标题: [求助]麻烦大家帮我看看（二）
今天下午做了一套语法，25题，33分30秒，错了8个，正确率只有68%，怎么回事儿呢？我仔细分析了一下，发现粗心错的有几题，可能是还不太熟悉在机器上做题吧，当然还有几题我根本就不明白！请大家多多指教！

1、
In spite of continuing national trends toward increased consumption of specialty foods, agronomists in the Midwest foresee a gradual reversion to the raising of agricultural staples: feed corn and hard red wheat.

为什么是A而不是D呢？请牛牛们指教！

2、

答案是C，而我选了B，凭感觉选的，我理解的是xx没有机会去做...，看来原文是xx没有...的机会，我的理解错在哪儿？还是搭配上没掌握？请大家帮助！

3、
Seeming to be one of the few corporations diversified enough to survive the recession, many shareholders ignored the drop in third-quarter profits and invested even more heavily in Emco.
(A) Seeming to be
(B) As if
(C) In that they seemed
(D) Although it seemed
(E) Because it seemed to be

这题就更糊涂了，正确选项E中it指代什么？seem to be 之外seem 是否还有其它的常用法？请大家不吝赐教！谢谢！

1.reversion to 加名词，且和trends对应

2。主动和被动的关系：adult survivors 不能自己recognize and treat 自己的病

3。it seems that / seem to,
但是不会解释这个题目，请NN指教

dreadpower版主的解释非常清楚, 第三题我记得以前问过, 我也做错了, 当时我选A, 不过, 现在知道了, 这道题恐怕只有在比较了五个选项之后, 才能确认E是最好的, 但却不是完全正确地. 因为这里的it只能通过句意才能判断出, it指代的是shareholders所在的那个公司, 可是文中没有任何提及. 不过, 首先要保证seem to do的用法, 另外, A中的seeming的用法造成了该动作的逻辑主语是shareholders, 严重逻辑错误, 不能选. 这样, 就只剩下E了.

3. it 指代 emco

it seems...中it是虚的，指代seems后面的that 或者to结构

我认为，在第三题里，it指代的是emco，若it指代是虚指，后面必须有that从句，it做形式主语，指代that从句。题目里，若还原，应该是because emco seemed to be one of the few corporations...
