标题: prep1-135 插入语吗？

A中 it was said是插入语吗？怎么来判断选A不选B？

Though the presence/absence of 'that' are both acceptable, GAMT always favors the presence of that when it is leading a subject clause, but an case in favor of omitting 'that' is the occurrence of the word 'that' just a few words away; a sentence containing the words '...so prevalent that it was said that...' would be awfully ugly.

In chioce B, unfortunately, the sentence changes the original meaning.

据说，一只松鼠能跳过...

一只松鼠被说成它能跳过...

意思是有差别的的

B怎么看都很别扭，squirrel was said 这表达就很不舒服,另外A 中it was said应该不是插入语，it是形式主语，其中的引导词that被省略了这个省略有没有标准阿~

考点，SO THAT，DCE全部排除，被动没有主动好，GMAC经常搞点插入语来迷惑我们！所以肯定是A！

我开始也有同样的困惑，毕竟GMAT的语法是it is + 强调部分 + that/who... 强调句必然要有that。所以起初我选B。但B的问题多了，a squirrel was said 后面要加 to do, 比如said to be able to ... 就会通顺，加that是错误的。仔细看A，另外一个so that的that刚刚出现在句子中，a few words way又来一个that似乎符合语法习惯但不符合通顺、简洁的原则。在不影响句义的情况下省略掉第二个that似乎也没有错。所以还是选回A吧

Question one's answer is A because, as you guessed, the use of "that" just a few words away makes the sentence sound more awkward than it needs to. "so prevalent that it was said that a squirrel could" doesn't have the easiest flow to it. The earlier "that" is enough to connect the two ideas. A second "that" would be needlessly repetitious, and most writing experts will urge you to delete any non-essential words. As for the other phenomenon, it's easier for me to gauge what you mean if you provide an example.

B还有一个明显的错误就是既然关系代词that已经指代了squirrel，定语从句中又多出了一个it指代squirrel，重复！

请问为什么A选项里面it was said 后面没有that呢? it这里应该是形式主语吧?那它代的应该是后面的句子,这里可以省略that吗?烦请NN指教...不胜感激

that后面跟的内容一定要修饰a，我忘了在哪看到的了。

that应该是宾语，因此可以省略，I GUESS
还有，LZ可以看长短吗~~表达感觉都对，简单的短的总是对的~~~
