答案是C，为啥except不是过去时？？

MM什么意思？

在GMAT考试中except一般都是作为介词使用，没有很明显的逻辑主语的。

eg：We go there every day except Sunday。。

那么这里我们需要分析的是这是2个句子，肯定有连词的，那么在C和D中选择。。

这里说的是在教学和管理领域中，那么一般都是用in。。

所以选C。。

SENTENSE 2 the English language was never really spoken on the island.

SO but as a conj. is necessary, normally it's position should before the English

两个句子间，连词不可少排除abe

根据逻辑含义，M是british的殖民地200多年了，除了在管理和教育的领域中，英语没有被真正spoken。

表示英语在管理和教育领域中被真正使用，而不是除了管理和教育的领域，该处体现in的含义
