我对这个题目不明白的地方是，otherwise could be uncovered for months是修饰workers 没错吧，那么加了and 会不会感觉像是and前的东东和and后的东东成了并列了呢？而且，就算还是表示对workers的修饰，那么and　otherwise 我怎么读着这么别扭呢，好似重复啊？

我觉得两题是不矛盾的。大全中那道题如果用逗号连接，一句话中就有两个谓语动词了。而OG这两个动作不是并列的， influenced是whose repertory从句中的谓语， inspired 是整句句子的谓语动词，就是 Bluegrass musician Bill Monroe的动词。
