我觉得是E，不知道LZ的答案是什么？

我是通过修饰语应该限定satellites排除AB，然后通过effort to subject the interactions of选E的

2)to subject the interactions of Earth’s atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces 到底是做什么成分,是做effort 的定语吗,还是做目的状语??

刚好做到这里, 答案给的是E

我反刍了两天, 总算明白了一些:

subjet 这里是倾向的意思

Prone; disposed:
易于…的；倾向于…的：
a child who is subject to colds.
易于感冒的孩子
Likely to incur or receive; exposed:
易受…的：很可能导致或受到…的；暴露的：
a directive that could be subject to misinterpretation.

that are part of a 15-year effort to subject the interactions of Earth’s atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces to detailed scrutiny from space

从太空中详细审查可以得出地球大气,海洋和陆地表面的互相作用的倾向(情况--即,下雨打雷,刮风...)是(人造卫星)15年成果的一部分,

to subject the interactions of Earth’s atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces 觉得是做目的状语, 但按照中文翻译习惯就变成定语啦.

A, C錯是因為"15-year effort"之前少了一個"a"
subject X to Y是subject的用法, B中的"how..."不對...
E會比D好, 因為"a 15-year effort"比"an effort for 15 years" concise

subject 為動詞>>>>修飾後面的一些現象(名詞)

考点：定语从句one of n.复数 that, that 修饰n.复数。后面谓语用复数（排除a.b）
the one of n.复数 that ,that 修饰 the one
effort to do 费力做某事。没有effort of doing.(排除C)

d中 that.... that 定从内嵌定从太恶了。

最后，e胜出！！

看到几年前的帖子, 乍一看以为Alien版主是对的
但仔细看, 发现A,C就是要表达 15 years effort, 这中间是没有"-"的, 所以其实是不需要加a的

我认为15 years effort和a 15-year effort都是可行的, 虽然后者更好一些, 但是这一点不能作为排除的直接根据

本题的依据应该是:
1.根据定语从句修饰对象的单复数排除AB, 因为用了is 变成修饰AM-1,而不是修饰satellites了
2.通过subject...to scrutiny排除C
3.通过时态排除D, 没有原因使用现在完成时

还有E选项不是用来双重所有格嘛？PREP里不是说GMAT中双重所有格是错误的嘛？？？

E中的to subject 的逻辑主语有没有歧义的嫌疑呢？我排除E的原因就是觉得to subject有形容plan和satellites的歧义。望NN们指教。
