Q8:

很容易排除干扰选项BCE，开比AD，我们发现好似两个都有不足。A选项，grow to be 意思是长成什么什么，结合原句就是那个鸟鱼长成30feet，好似不太符合逻辑吧？D选项，用as big as修饰long貌似不太符合修饰习惯。大家说两个鸟选项哪个更好？

第一题选A吧 include the animal known as the killer whale, which can grow to be 30 feet long and is

include the animal known as the killer whale, which can grow as big as 30 feet long and is: 我觉得as big as 30 feet long有问题.中文翻译成"大到30feet长"貌似没问题,但是英语中应该没有这种表达吧.as big as 前面是whale,后面变成了30 feet long 也不对称.

这题选C,they 指代的是costs,而且是句子中唯一一个复数.我是这么理解的:a greater proportion 是句子的同位语,是对前面半句的概括总结,所以than后面要是同样的句子,就是句子与句子的比较.

不知道理解的对不对,请指正.

16，B是对的

这道理，同位语部分，发生名词跟名词比的情况

a greater proportion than proportion in any previous election.

这种题，it 和they 肯定都不能对，因为都只能指代前面出现过的名词，

发生名词比较时，最忌讳自己跟自己比，如果出现代词，一定是that 单数，或者those 复数，指代同类型的不同个体。

所以只能选择省略了名词的结构

对于何种情况下能省略，何种情况不能省略，一个大原则就是，不混淆就能省，还有很多小地方需要你体会

比如常规概念就能省，比如前面是people, 还有这题的proportion.

20.题就比较有争议了, 你可以搜一下题号，

首先it可以指代 the army of xxx

给你几个思路做参考，我以前也是参考了别人的思路,感谢前人们

1.sth. take sb. some time to do

2.it takes sb. some time to do sth.

3.另外OG中有一题，是 sth be done to keep it from sth ,就是说to do 后面还有介宾结构，代词也要补出。

我想请教各位NN一个问题，关于GW1-Q8,为什么题干中，The 32 species that make up the dolphin family are closely related to Whales..." 而不用 is closely related to呢？从前后文的关系来看，都是讨论的the 32 species 该物种，应该用单数才对啊。

我觉得这题还不是在于好还是不好的层面去判断，应该是对错上的差异
