关于这题，我觉得
E更合适，因为用了主动语态，A用了被动语态，语法笔记上写的E的错误是from when跟1788太远，这里regardless…是作为插入语，所以这种用法是可以接受的，from when可以很清晰的指代1788，所以我支持这题选E
大家有什么看法？

找到错误了，错在from when上，from是介词，后面只能接名词，不能接从句

一点看法。

原文的中心是围绕all aerodynamically enhanced, curved objects这个objects。而所谓的非澳洲人只是一个小小的状语，这个"非澳洲人"在原文中其实是可以拿掉的，但为什么还存在？因为要和后面的European进行对比。这就是它的作用。虽然有语法笔记提到过能用主动的却没有用是错误的，但我认为这个By是有自己的作用而不需要提到前面去变成主动。

我认为E的问题

1。made for throwing boomerangs 不容易被读者分开，歧义

2. regardless of their，their指代不明确了，objects? boomerangs？

3. from when是一段时间，后面用过去式不合适，而且原文只是比较1788那个点的时候不同的人的认识，from when变成了时间段，改变了愿意。

4. E选项没有了对比的意思

5. E的头太重了，应该是属于简洁性/有效性问题

晕...看到3个选项都有from when，一开始还在怀疑自己是不是搞错了

从来没有看到过from when 这种用法的说, 肯定是用since拉, 所以这里很快可以split成 2/3

除了A, 所有的代词指代 their 都有问题...

昨天晚上想了想，今天又查了下资料，from
when+句子是没有问题的，主要是这里的when…要指代前面的since1788就有问题了，since本来就是自从……以来的意思，而这里的
from又有了这个意思，所以语义重复了。C和D的错误也是那个from，其实C和D加不加from都是错误的，因为家了from可以做状语，和前面那个
since 1788重复，不加from做定语，距离忒远

这里B中的from when是不错的，因为是词组里的一部分，from…to…，when引导的句子只是做了一个from的宾语成分，是可以的

所以不能看到from when就判定是错误的，要仔细分析才行

PERP注释和楼上观点相悖...

考点：比较、动词形式

1) 比较，相同比较对象的代词指代，代词that通常不单独使用，后面常跟of…。

2) 动词形式，from…o…连接两个过去的时间范围时，用一般过去时态。

(A) 正确，it指代economy，did指grow的过去时。

(B) 该选项是名词growth之间的对比，表达不准确，more than之间应该有形空词，如fast；from +when引导的从句用法错误，介词from后面应该加名词。

(D) it指代对象不清楚，表达罗嗦不清晰，且exceeds后面应该用过去时态，而不是现在完成时态；from +when引导的从句用法错误。

(E) it指代对象不清楚，表达罗嗦不清晰。

D and E中的ever since 1788會造成分歧...

A is correct.

B : their--objects;

D: "its" is unclear, its--boomerang or object?

C: their--boomerangs or objects?

E: their ---boomerangs? confuse readers, so A is the best answer.
