正确选项是C. 我的问题是把C带入划线部分,那么就是more than ten times as much energy is generated through wind power now
as
was the case.

那么这句话的主谓宾结构是什么? 感觉more than ten times as much energy没有办法作主语啊…… 大家讨论！NN指教！非常感谢！！！

我觉得是不是最好标明是prep1还是prep2 这样有利于别人回答问题和查找

more than ten times as much energy就是主语，所以后面不能用it，因为it是完全指代，用case的话，就概况了前面的情况。。

我擦。。。没人看语法书吗？我自习看了一下语法书，上面有说
as is often the case 是常见的as引导的结构，这里的as 可以视为关系代词，相当于which，引导定语从句，也可视为连词，其后省略了it，注意是省略，引导状语从句。
举例：
He stayed late into the night, as is often the case
= which is often the case = as it is often the case
这里的it明显是指代energy，而且这里的generate 是谓语动词，不是分词啊。
而且这里的it是省略，不是没有啊，所以这里笔记的解释明显是错误的。
