1.        Artificial intelligence emerged during the late 1950’s as an academic discipline based on the assumption that computers are able to be programmed to think like people.

(A) are able to be programmed to think like people

(B) were able to be programmed to think as people

(C) can be programmed to think as people can

(D) could be programmed to think like peopleD

(E) are capable of being programmed to think like people do

Inclined or disposed to:
felt like running away.
As if the probability exists for:
looks like a bad year for farmers.
Such as; for example:
saved things like old newspapers and pieces of string.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

我对be able to be programmed 不理解, 查了半天.

be able to ./ be capable of doing

可能用as people do会好一些?但是比较而言只能选这个 be able to be done 自己有能力被做…
