对于答案B，我想请问一下：also这个词按照GMAT的一般用法，是做副词的，那么应该在连接2个谓语的时候加上连词吧？还是这里比较特殊，直接作连词了？

whose repertory, views on musical collaboration, and vocal style were influential on generations of bluegrass artists, 全部是插入部分，修饰Bill Monroe，所以不需要连词。influenced 的主语是 repertory and vocal style

整个句子简化后就是如下黑色部分，灰的都是修饰部分，其中红的部分是repertory的修饰部分，是修饰中的修饰。

也就是说also还是副词，不是连词

怎样判断views on musical collaboration是repertory的修饰语啊，我怎么觉得是repertory，views on musical collaboration，and vocal style 是三个并列的成分啊，这样就可以直接排除 CD了，同时就算views on musical collaboration是修饰repertory的，那and vocal style是用来做什么成分的啊？如果是跟repertory并列，那还是可以直接排除CD。但我还是觉得是三个并列的比较说的通，像GMAC的风格。

自己已经找到答案了,OG10版解释的是

Both C and D begin with the singular was; the compound subject of this verb is plural: repertory,

views on musical collaboration, and vocal style.

因此，破译版上对A的解释：

whose repertory和were influential主谓不一致

是错的

whose repertory和were influential主谓不一致

也就是说also还是副词，不是连词

不好意思，对于这道题还是有些想不通。楼上说influenced generations of bluegrass artists是修饰成分，可是后面有一个also，也就是说inspired前面应该有一个同等的东西，所以我认为influenced与inspired应该是平行的。但是没有and,实在是很费解！

Also不就是表明一种承接么？说明前面还有一个平行的部分。

我当时觉得 B 句子结构不完整，我理解的是influenced 和 inspired 平行。

我怎么也怎么没理解，好麻烦

B的结构是完整的啊
主干是B also inspired many musicians

also是副词连接不了句子的这里是表示和之前的定语从句有一定的逻辑关系：B的作品影响了一些艺术家（这部分是定语从句），而b也（also）激发了一些音乐家

逗号不能连接两个或三个独立句子必须用and 所以副词不能代替连词如ALSO不能代替and 但是这里also inspired many musicians不是一个独立句子所以没关系啦

可是从A选项表达的原意来看，应该是要让influence和inspire平行的。改错时，不是不能改变原意吗？
这样的看的话，好像没有正确答案啊。。。

都10年的老贴了，那我注入不算新的理解把。在做sc题平均每分钟一题的情况下，没有时间来分析句子的，只抓重点来判断对错即可。此题中有and, 1.排除c,d. 2.根据 v.> a. > n. 原则，就可以直接得出正确答案。同时也对应og 答案解析

ron 说过，因为前面有一个动作在定语修饰成分whose中,所以正式的动词中要加also. 举例： Ron, who wortes the most posts in this forum, is also a GMAT instructor.
