Contact the Adcomm (Rita Morrow) to express your dedication to the school. Send in additional material if you have anything new. Send in a waitlist letter at least. Other than that, just sit tight. Not much you can do. Good luck.

For those on the waitlist, you are still in the game!
Cheryl Jones and Rita Morrow will come to mainland by end of Feb or early of March to conduct interviewes.
Darden normally will place candidates on the waitlist first if the school does not have time to interview applicants, espcially for International students. As you have submitted the application in R2 and the school has to give decision before deadline, it makes sense for school to put canidates first on the waitlist then to release decision after interview. That means that you are still in the game. Don't get depressed.
I was on the waitlist last year but finally got off the waitlist. My suggestion is to constantly updating ur progress to Admission officer, but not to harass them.

Don't worry. As long as you are on the waitlist, you are still in the game. Wailist in Darden means that you are under consideration but the admission office can not make a decision now, because you have not conducted interview. All international student need to be interview before getting admitted.
As far as I know, Rita is in charge of applicants from Europe now. And Cheryl is in charge of those from Asia. So, i suggest you contact Cheryl if possible. Or you can write directly to the public email address of Darden for all applicants. They will reply you ASAP. Good luck!

efz31990 made a great point here. gmatarena, I guess the main reason why you were waitlisted is because you did not conduct the interview. Rita and Cheryl will fly to China latter (Sars should count in), try your best to interview with them. Last yr, it is the same thing, lots of got waitlisted and got offers after the March interview. Anybody ever received the notice that the second deadline was extended to Dec. 8?
So I submitted on Dec. 7, but my status online is still "Your application is complete and will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee shortly." How about others who also submitted by the second round?

Darden Admission office does not give feedback to me. But it schedules a interview for me. I applied for the second round.
Also take visa application into consideration.
